December 26, 2023 - not sure if the "gifted" wine was stored improperly or regifted. Whaterever the case, the best that I can say is I hope this doesn't ruin my spaghetti sauce as it is being regated to cooking

February 13, 2023 - The wine looks ruby colored. It smells like blackberry, cranberry, black currant (cassis), black pepper, tobacco, bell pepper, and pomegranate. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), pomegranate, cedar, vanilla, nutmeg, bell pepper and tobacco. The body is medium. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

December 18, 2022 - Disappointing when first opened; mainly bland fruit; improved as it was open including second day. A few dusty CS notes but mainly red fruit; pleasant enough and well balanced. No sign of heavy handed oak: a plus. Can't complain at this price but previous vintages were significantly better. Maybe this vintage will improve with age?

October 16, 2022 - Medium ruby hue. Aromas of bell pepper, black cherry, blackcurrant, and chocolate, with more dark fruit, oak, and pepper on the palate. Medium body, with medium-plus acidity and medium tannins.
