  January 7, 2024 - This is great right out of the bottle. Third time I've opened it and drank immediately and couldn't believe how good it was. I was lucky and bought seven bottles. I will now only open one per year and see how this improves. Big, flavourful wine that is smooth and satisfying (this sounds like a 70's Marlborough ad, but whatever....if you have this, you know).

  November 17, 2023 - PnPd but definitely will benefit with a long decant. Dark, opaque purple. Pronounced nose of blackberry crumble and peppery cured meat. Full-bodied assault of ripe blue and black fruits. This is a rich, textured Syrah. Good integration of tannin, alcohol and acid for a relatively young wine. Went well with brisket, buttery spuds and wilted spinach with Ruckles goat cheese. Would definitely buy this again. Very good QPR.
