  April 13, 2010 - Incredibly light bodied wine. Visually, it looks more like a Pinot Noir. Strawberries and fresh apples on the palate. Very unusual Zinfandel. Not horrible, but not what I want in a Zin either.

  February 12, 2010 - This is simply wine gone bad. Maybe this was good juice out of the chute (when the Enthusiast rated it 90 -- huh?!) but it took a bad turn since. The nose gives it away with its unfriendly notes. No sign of fruit, only bitter red liquid. I see reviews here where other folks had similar experiences. Perhaps they tarted this up for its coming out party but it's all over but the crying. I shed a tear over spending $18 on this bottle.

  June 4, 2009 - Agree with previous notes describing this zin as hot with high alcohol. No real depth. Let decant for an hour with not much improvement. Least impressive Dry Creek zin that I've tasted.

  May 25, 2009 - Dark red. Very hot on the nose the first night so difficult to detect much of anything else. Second night (after decanting 24 hours) could detect some fruit. On the palate, first night was mostly alcohol burn! Second night moved to almost cherry cola. Probably would have been better with food. Won't buy again.
