May 3, 2023 - Slightly aged ruby with garnet tint. Nose has red cherries, savory herbs, touch of VA-esque lifted notes, and some earthiness. Palate has a nice structure with pleasant acidity. Red tart fruit, cranberries, some allspice/crushed pepper. Finishes medium+ with pleasant tannins.

January 13, 2023 - Very slightly developed ruby with touch of garnet. Nose with red cherries, bright cranberries, thyme, nailpolish, gravel, and some ferrous notes. Viscous long legs in glass. Palate is fresh with balanced acidity, more ripe cherries and lots of savory herbal notes. Quite a bit of oak spice and licorice on the medium+ finish with nice grainy tannins.
