  March 30, 2023 - Piedmonte with only Barolo and Barbaresco (Restaurant Primo in Kannai, Yokohama): With Chatters, Vintomas and Mats @PRIMO. Theme: Old Barolo/Barbaresco.

  This wine certainly suffered from the onslaught of its compadres. A decent Barolo, but tonight had to sit beside the table. Quite delicious with intense red fruit. But that's basically it.
  
  Hopefully, time will bring some more items to the table.

  March 30, 2023 - Cellartracker in the flesh with Stefan, Mats & Tomas (Primo Yokohama, Yokohama): Slightly meaty, sour plums; umeboshi, dried flowers, pot pourri. Medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of grainy, slightly chalky tannins, dense with slight non-intrusive alcohol warmth but with a sense of freshness and elegance, plums and dried flowers, simple, nice in a traditional way (warmth/ripeness from the vintage)
