  February 23, 2010 - UCD wine group (My House, Denver, CO): Nice chardonnay-like white fruits and flowers that is a bit steely and tart on the palate. If the fruits were more lacy and if there was some mineral this would a Chablis stand-in. Nice.

  January 12, 2009 - Served next to an '02 Chablis for comparison. This had way more forward fruit on nose and palate with white fruits, flowers and minerals. It matched the Chablis in terms of 'tartness', but this was (unsurprisingly) a different animal.

  September 14, 2008 - A very nice wine. Was the color of honey, and actually looked very much like the color of the sunflowers we had on the table. A very crisp wine and refreshing, with nice acidity. Believe there was little or no oak used in the wine. Flavors of green apples and pears, with lots of minerality. Definitely not a rich or buttery chardonnay, but a very nice wine for the style the winemaker obviously must have been trying to achieve. Went very well with food.
