April 11, 2021 - Bottle 5139. Opened and poured. Light to medium bodied...light ruby to clear on the meniscus. Braised strawberry, brioche toast, some drippy raspberries, bubble gum. Nice and light. Not too flabby or hot. Plummy and oaky on day two....nice and round without any harsh heat.

December 10, 2020 - This Pinot is still drinking really well. Plenty of fruit and complexity. It improved significantly after about 10 minutes of air.

May 4, 2017 - Bought and held since release. Popped this tonight. This was exactly what I Was looking for. At distant edge of maturity and drinking window. 14.8% etoh with heat upon warming. Otherwise, this was drinking nicely. Cherry liquor and ripe with smooth almost elegant mouth feel. Touch minerality to add comlplexity. Despite contrarians, KB has a loyal following for exactly this type of bOttling. Pleasing and fulfilling. Glad to have held this till now.
