March 16, 2024 - Wow this was beautiful! Notes of stone fruits, rocky minerals and some spices, really generous palate that’s still quite fresh with lots of more stone fruits coming through, medium/high acidity and a really long finish

September 27, 2023 - Lay & Wheeler South Africa tasting. Brief Notes: Rounder, creamier and richer than the Old Vines Chenin alongside it. There are notes of yellow fruit and pears. Great depth of flavour through the palate. Great balance.

March 23, 2023 - Many years since I last had the Mullineux Schist CB - now excelling in the most recent vintage (21) - young, fresh, unevolved, but still gorgeous notes. Intense straw-yellow, green-golden reflections. Nose - p&p - pears, peach, tad of sweetness, light citrus & lime touch. Palate is somewhat less weightier than I remember it - crisp, backbone acidity, flavours mirroring nose w fresh tropical core, residual honey sweetness balanced by excellent acidity, round, finishing on a bone-dry, sincerely mineral-saline note. Hold!
