January 27, 2018 - I saw the last review had it at dead. This one is drinking fine. Yes, on the tail end of the curve, however soft black cherries, some raspberry, some vanilla notes still there. Red and dark fruits. Very, very plush. Nothing sour about it at all. Super smooth. Acidity is light, nothing astringent at all. Kinda floored its this good after this long. I'll admit, I forgot I had it, and as the only one I had I didn't have any others to compare it to over time. Popped the cork and it was perfecto, like no seepage at all. For a one shot deal, great, and maybe I got lucky here. The more I have sipped it over 3 hours, the more I enjoy it. I even bumped up the score.

    January 23, 2013 - Wonderful Pinot
Appearance: The wine was clear and Ruby with Medium to fast legs.
Nose: It smelled like Blackberry, Raspberry, Red Currant, Vanilla, and hints of Bark or loam.
Taste/ Texture / Finish: Soft texture, Blackberry, Raspberry, and Fig on the tongue, Light/Medium body, and a nice finish.

January 15, 2013 - Last two bottles gone, and I am not unhappy about that. I used a bottle and a half for beef bourguignon, leaving half a bottle to taste one more time. Some of the murkiness has gone, seems less opaque than I remember. The harsh acidity has softened somewhat. So, it was a little better than I remember from before. However, there is still only very sour fruit.

(Mischief and Mayhem Bourgogne Rouge) COLOR-medium dark; NOSE-loaded w/ gorgeous baby strawberries; little hints of Fart bomb; & radishes; a little dirt bomb; TASTE-dry; beautiful black tea component; extremely Old World in the attack; vegetal; green tea; light raspberry & strawberry; very focused; very rich & mouthful explosion Pinot; a complex monster of a wine for $20 bones; if you want to know what good Pinot Noir was like before "Sideways", then find a bottle of this; one of the longest finishes (black tea, raspberry & bell pepper) on a under $20 bottle in a long time; GV-90+
