March 8, 2015 - Delicious! Color is ruby red. After being open several days the nose is sparkling with incense and dark, dark fruit. Palate is rich with roasted plum and spice. Almost (but not yet) pruny. Probably better drink now.

March 20, 2012 - Very dark aromas and flavors of blackberry and vanilla cream. A very big wine and the heat is there, but not as bothersome as it was a few years ago. Long finish with a grapey feel.

February 17, 2011 - Very dark aromas of cherry, smells kinda like cherry cough syrup. Viscous on the palate. There is a dark fruit taste to this, but is overpowered by the alcohol. Reminds me of a mixed drink with too much alcohol in it.

February 12, 2011 - lots and lots of sweet fruit. Very smooth now. Lots of heat, too.
