Not quite as fresh as the first bottle and more like one that has been around a few years. Ripe apricots and a touch of minerals on the nose with the fruit feeling ripe on the palate being a bit bitter at the edges. Still nice but not as clean and balanced as the previous bottle. Held relatively the same over a few days.

  May 9, 2008 - I'm liking this better on the 3rd day as the richness has relaxed and let the fruit express itself as well as making the palate more even from start to finish. The heat that I noticed the first couple days has calmed down a bit also. Nice example of fresh Chard that won't floor you with its expression or complexity but is a nice daily dinner companion.
