  March 1, 2024 - (90% Sangiovese, 10% Colorino/Canaiolo/Ciliegiolo, Vergoren bei kontrollierter Temperatur im Stahltank, danach 18 Monate ausbau in Beton sowie Tonneaux aus französischer Eiche. 13.5% Alkohol. Anfangs verhalten, braucht etwas Zeit, zeigt dann Tee, Kräuter, Rosen, Zwetschgen und Sauerkirschen. Im Gaumen gradlinig straff, delikate Frucht, feine Säure, die Tannine sind moderat, harmonisch mit der Frucht verwoben. Im Abgang balanciert, frisch mit feiner Würze und guter Länge. Ein stimmiger Chianti, ab sofort bis 2030 geniessen.

  December 2, 2022 - Popped and poured. Rich sour cherry aroma. Red fruit up front, slight earthy notes mid palate, tart cherry in the drying finish. Pure, clean, simple, firm backbone. There may be room for development, but right now this is a good, basic chianti at a price that is slightly high for a wine of that description.
