Community Tasting Notes 3

July 15, 2008 - This was great. Palest yellow in the glass, it smells and tastes the way I wish Sauvignon Blanc always did. (Think Cloudy Bay or St. Clair, or the platonic ideal thereof...) Medium bodied, powerful acidity, herbaceous, and delicious with both shrimp scampi (+tomatoes) and fish, over two successive nights. My wife instructed me to remember the name, vintage, and grape because she wanted more of it, so, it's not just me...

June 20, 2008 - Chronicle: melons and citrus in a refreshing style. This excellent value offers surprising complexity for a wine of its humble price. Very tasty!

November 25, 2007 - 100% organically farmed Verdejo. Citrus and melon, dry and acidic. Good but I like the Con Class blend bette, particularly for the price. ( D 6, F 5.5; Cent., ES)
