November 16, 2012 - Very smooth. A little blackberry on the palate. Wish it had a little longer finish. Overall very good.

October 14, 2012 - At the zenith still. Drink rather than regret. Fully resolved and elements (including alcohol) in check. Full of fruit briery, black and sweet. Wonderful with daube.

December 25, 2011 - 1+ hour decant. Blueberry pie, olive, ok structure, still pretty tanic, heat showing and a subtle bitter ending. Not bad, but there are others at this price point that are far better.

May 12, 2011 - Reminded me how much I love Syrah. Beautiful black fruit and black pepper. No sign of old school structure, but not a new world fruit bomb either. This was probably better a year ago; not much in the way of acidity. Very good, but not spectacular. Paired with grilled ribeyes and a Shitake mushroom fried rice. Worked with the steak, kind of mismatch with the mushrooms.
