Community Tasting Notes 8

February 10, 2024 - Good but weak and faint. Raspberry up front but quickly fades away. Medium body with a nice nose. This has lots of earthy secondary notes. Acidity is here but don’t see this aging.

September 8, 2023 - Tasted at the Seven Springs Vineyard. Fermented 30% whole cluster with free run juice only, one year in concrete tank, then aged 8 months in 50% new French oak puncheons with light toast. 13% ABV. Dark ruby, bordering on garnet crimson color. Nose shows rose petals, bramble and black raspberry. Lovely balance on the palate with appropriate levels of acidity and tannin. Rich black cherry, pomegranate and black raspberry fruit, earthy dense texture. Long luxurious finish. Age-worthy and delicious! Lots of upside potential.

July 13, 2023 - Elegant, sharp, excellent fruit. One of my favorite Oregon pinots.
