September 7, 2023 - Salty, very salty. Imagine licking the back of a shell on a beach on a warm summer night with an ocean breeze. Lemon, mineral, a little green apple. Medium+ length.

January 18, 2023 - Albeit for us Assyrtiko belongs in Santorini the efforts to develop it away from its homeland ( Barring the excellent work done in Tinos) usually fall short but the excellent Nolan in Athens was promoting this so we went along. Cooler, still mineral, fattier and less precise but probably also an easier wine and easier to please a crowd. Good effort but not really close to the Santorini ones. 89

October 12, 2022 - It has an elegant, medium-high to highly aromatic nose that is leesy with citrus, herbs, and earthy mineral aromas. On the medium-bodied, well-structured palate, it is fleshy and gains weight in the mouth with pleasing aroma replays, plus salty notes on the ripe flavour profile. With balanced acidity, it is nicely textured on the mid-palate, continuing on the long finish with touches of vanilla and butter. Score: 90+ pts
