  November 19, 2023 - this wine was served at the 45th induction ceremony and induction dinner of the Garden State Bailliage of the Chaine des Rotisseurs held at the Ryland Inn. Winery owner, Pinto Naravane was at the table. the wine was paired with ribeye crown roast, potatoes a la boulangere, mustard greens, roasted garlic, wild foraged mushrooms and horseradish-charred leek chimichurri. the wine showed well on its own and also paired with the food. the wine was young but enjoyable. 78% cabernet sauvignon and 12% merlot. lots of dark fruit on the nose and the palatte. firm structure. medium body. mellow tannin. medium finish. this wine will improve with more time in the bottle.

  October 7, 2023 - Lots of dark fruit on the nose—think black currant, plum, blackberries, maybe a bit of huckleberry. Some oak, some cedar, some tobacco aromas as well, but the fruit is definitely leading the way at this stage. Big across the palate with similar flavors. Smooth tannins, definitely present but not too assertive. Very well balanced. Probably should have bought a case since there’s no way this is lasting a decade in my cellar.

  November 6, 2022 - Solid value. Big and bold with classic cab flavors. Great now and could probably go for a decade easily.
