October 19, 2023 - Couleur or, foncé. Au départ le nez est sur des notes boisées, fleur séchée et caramel. Au fil du temps, on retrouve des notes de miel et de mie de pain. En bouche, tout est en rondeur. L ampleurvest moyenne. Tres belle longueur

January 16, 2023 - Well and alive! Honey, waxy, oily, not overly complex and long but very decent for a 23yo white wine. Very satisfying

June 19, 2022 - A private dinner at a friend's (Amsterdam, NL): Final bottle from a full case purchased at auction in 2008. Six bottles were dead on arrival, the other six were very good to excellent (?!?). Full yellow colour with a golden sheen. Mature but lively, smoky nose, hint of green on the palate, waxy like an old Riesling, velvety bitters, very closed, not easy to identify. On the second day it has opened up beautifully (!), displaying a honeyed Marsanne richness and some Roussanne lift in a generous but elegant, minerally frame. No signs of decay. Very satisfying and quite impressive after 23 years.
