June 14, 2023 - This is a powerhouse of a wine. Deep ruby/purple color. Intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cigar box, coconut, and dill. Tastes also of black plum and chalk. Full bodied, high tannins, medium acidity, high alcohol (though not too hot), and bone dry. Really well balanced crianza Tempranillo. More stout than the elegant Tempranillos from Rioja. I really enjoyed this and hope to add more to my collection in the future. This was my first Duero River Tempranillo and it will not be the last.
