May 10, 2009 - the initial pop and pour whiff is of blue cheese, but that should and does blow off after like two minutes. lush melon on the nose, but not tropical. spicy french oak.10% new?? nose is propped up with mineral balance. saline and light oak on the nose. much more oak shows on the palate. ethereal oak spice dancing around on the nose. too much oak spice on the palate in my esteem. nose starts to sing, but the palate is overburdened.
