April 19, 2024 - Perhaps too much air perhaps having drunk this bottle outdoors may have impacted the wine but this was a little disappointing and reminded me of the regular DP04. Deep golden yellow color, fine bubbles, lots of brioche, ground almonds, golden apples and some honey. A little less complex on the palate than what I was expecting and a decent finish but lacks a little of the fatness I like about DP especially given this was a P2. Will try again under different conditions and see.

March 15, 2024 - Excellent again - perfect balance - freshness and intensity.

March 1, 2024 - Ivy Sommelier tasting (Mumu, George Street): Generous, fleshy, fruit very much in the background but such subtle textured, super persistent, balanced and wonderfully integrated. A reappraisal of Champagne point for me.

February 12, 2024 - Dinner at SSG. A significant step up over the 2013 DP had alongside. Has a very well developed nose, honey caramel, lemon tart, creme brûlée, good dose of gun flint and mouth filling acidity. Drinking at apogee, no need to keep further for maximum pleasure.

February 4, 2024 - Liking more than previous two vintages, more volume and structure, if still sweet. 93-94
