October 27, 2016 - 14.1% alcohol. Black cherry color with perhaps the faintest stirrings of orange at the rim of the glass. Very pretty, complex nose of black cherry, earth, and a floral accent. In the mouth, beautiful, fine-knit texture with pure black cherry, ample spice, and moderate acidity rounding out a very balanced wine. The finish adds in some earthy, forest floor notes. This has aged beautifully. A-/A
