Community Tasting Notes 1

    September 13, 2023 - Jean-Marc & Thomas Bouley (Tøyen, Oslo): Double decanted 4 hours, followed 5 hours

The nose here is beyond my vocabulary, a depth I rarely encounter. Certainly cherries, but beyond that I have no clue, its complexity washed over me and left my senses paralyzed.

Very concentrated palate, cranberry, red apples, a slight leather note. Enormous length with dusty tannins, great intensity without weigth.

What a wine, should be even more harmonious on the palate with bottle age, but my god, what a nose right now.. Absolutely stunned by this.
