February 25, 2024 - My first Savennieres, at least for a very long time. Probably still quite young, it was bone dry but only had little sense of floral beeswax/lanolin that I understand comes with ageing this form of Chenin Blanc. Certainly lighter than some South African examples like De Morgenzen that we have tried. Keep.

July 15, 2023 - Super-young: almost as pale as water. Understated in that characteristically Savennnières way. Apple-pear fruit, spices and steel. No real lanolin yet, but this will almost certainly develop with time. Palate is amply rich, unoaked, with nicely-integrated acidity. This strikes me as a wine that will age gracefully over the next ten+ years. 91-92

October 5, 2022 - A private lunch (Restaurant Café Amsterdam, Amsterdam, NL): Lemon curd, spices, chamomile, ripe and soft but fresh, steely finish. Fresher and more energetic than the 2018.
