November 20, 2022 - From Natalie MacLean: This is an easy-to-love now or later Cabernet Sauvignon from Hester Creek Estate Winery. Savoury on the nose with dark berry, plum and cassis aromas, the wine is dry, medium-plus-bodied with black currant, dark cherry, cedar, nutmeg, clove and earthy flavours lingering with a smoky vanilla finish. Aged 16 months on its lees in French oak barrels, this is an easy-drinking, graceful 100% Cab. Sauv., produced from grapes sourced from select blocks of the estate winery's Golden Mile Bench vineyard. Enjoy with rosemary and garlic rubbed lamb chops from the grill. Tasted November 2022.
