  January 13, 2024 - Pale straw in the glass, restrained nose, palate is off dry, ripe golden apple, quince, pear, agave nectar, ripe stone fruit, nectarine, citrus blossoms, acidity and body are medium, finish medium +. Alcohol is high and a bit out of balance becoming more pronounced and off putting as the wine warms. Overall a fantastic QPR for an Alsatian Gran Cru.

  May 24, 2023 - Medium plus weight for a white. Creamy in the sense that it bears more weight and is not crisp. Mid-level acidity, off-dry but not as sweet as rieslings. The only issue I have is that the heavy alcohol taste in the mouth is quite dominant with 14%. May need another 3 plus years to have that smooth out and be more balanced. Not the 95 rating. I think closer to 90 but that is a few years away. Decent QPR nevertheless at $20. Update: Drank it over 3 days and on the third day the alcohol was more balanced and the wine showed it stuff well. 91 rating. So drink in 2025 or later.

  October 19, 2022 - Creamy mouthfeel. Definitely sweet, but well balanced with acidity. Light strawberry and kiwi flavor notes. A solid WTSO bargain at $20/btl.
