February 11, 2013 - Consumed over 2 days, note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, black cherry, black dirt, and camphor. Palate: Medium bodied, sweet dark red fruit attack - black cherry and pomegranate, balanced nicely by an acidic back-bone mid-palate, with a mineral driven kick in the back-end. Finish: Medium-plus length dominated by slightly tart dark red fruit and earthiness. Nice complexity here - just a little harshness around the edges keeping this from being outstanding.

February 11, 2012 - Disappointing compared to the last bottle, not 100% positive but could have been slightly corked. Despite that it was still drinkable and enjoyable. First bottle from Maresh that didn't wow.

October 11, 2010 - Lighter style for the vintage. Opened up nicely after a couple of hours. Will wait a couple years to open any more.

April 10, 2010 - A beautiful striking nose with a taste to match. This is not a huge syrah like pinot. This is a subtle feminine wine that went extremely well with the fish at Jakes. I have yet to have a bad wine made from the Maresh vineyard.
