June 19, 2008 - muscaty with lots of floral and hair perm on the nose. The nose and color point to some advancement in age, as storage has been great since purchase at the winery i feel pretty sure of the provenance. There are some lime and pistachio notes on the n ose as well. This is pretty sweet (2.2%) but not cloying, it is pretty rich for a MI white with low-medium acidity and a pretty short and phenolic finish. Not horrible but hardly thrilling. Seems to have seen better days.
