March 30, 2018 - Definitely a different chard enjoyed tonight, but never would have guessed it was 12 years old. This one had some slight evidence of butter, but mostly mineral rich. Stelvin capped wine. Finished a bit on the mineral-rich side. If this was a bottle of wine enjoyed at a steakhouse, it would be a really good accompaniment with a bone-in ribeye.

August 9, 2017 - This wine is still going strong. I've had 4 solid bottles from Garagiste. Like good premier cru chablis. I'm sad I don't have more. It's the best $15 I've ever spent on wine.

January 27, 2016 - Light golden color. Caramelizd fruit aromas. Dulled tropical fruit and nut flavors. Past its prime.

  • cse Does not like this wine:

January 24, 2016 - boring new world chardonnay. not over the top, not too hot, just boring.

November 17, 2015 - Last bottle and seems to be more tired than the other two. Still got some nice acidity to balance the crisp apple and lemony fruit, shows maybe a tinge of coconut oak. Finish dissipates more quickly than the prior two bottles and not so much complexity. Still great value though.
