January 23, 2024 - Great QPR! Yes bacon fat and olive tapenade with iron and cherry on the palate. It does have the funk on the nose too. Very good second tier rocks Syrah.

November 8, 2023 - QPR is terrific. I am not sure I would rate this as a 94 like Wine Spectator, but it is very good . It has a very classic Walla Walla “Rocks” profile . The nose has olive and bacon fat . There is blue fruit, minerality and iron on the palate. Nice integration of tannins . That being said, I don’t taste the depth and structure of a the more expensive “label” Reynvaan.

October 26, 2023 - Bing cherry, minerals, olive brine, saline, unmistakable funk from Rocks District on nose. Medium acid, soft mouthfeel. Red fruits, pepper, earth, medium body. Pop n pour.

September 6, 2023 - PnP. No detailed notes. Funky Syrah character on the nose and early palate but it smoothed out from there. This wine probably deserved more attention than I gave it.

August 11, 2023 - 3 Result of a Crush Wines; 8/9/2023-8/12/2023: Day 1: Good to see others enjoying this wine. As the leading expert on these wines this is off the charts again. Black pepper, plum, dark cherry, spice, minerals and earth. Some bacon fat on the finish. This is more of an Aussie type wine which I also love as the 17 is more Northern Rhone like. This is an easy case purchase. 93 points
Day 2: Solid again. Menthol, black pepper, crushed rock, violets, dark cherry, plum and scorched earth. One of the better deals out there along of course with the 17 of this wine. 94 points
    Recommendation: Might be sold out!
