July 17, 2023 - light purple almost deep pink in color; gorgeous to look at. first nose was puzzling mix of lit match / pretzel. I cooled it and had it the next day. The fruit came out: small red berries, choke cherries, cranberries and the floral character of whole clusters. The aromas were fleeting, sometimes present sometimes hiding, ephemeral but glimpses of sublime. great fresh, sweet tart mouthfeel. better served cool and will probably benefit from a year in the cellar. special thoughts Julie's family and friends my condolences
