November 16, 2023 - Funk on nose. No funk on palate, with a rounded mouthfeel and lighter fruit notes. Silky on the front end, but much shorter finish (compared to the 2014 served next to it). Soft and caressing throughout, with a rounded richness hitting a one note black cherry flavor that persists on to the finish, which becomes even more clipped with air. This has a more standard “table wine” feel about it.

September 8, 2023 - Fantastic. Young right now but light and drinkable. If you want something heavier like a “normal” big Napa Cab, let this sit for a bit, or reach for the 2014, which is big and beautiful.
