August 28, 2022 - Drank from a double mag that was stored at cellar temp. Explosive nose, dark cherry, currants, anise, cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco leaf, ripe bell pepper, fine tannins that are now integrated very well with the fruit and structure. I imagine this will be over the hill from a 750, but out of a larger format this was singing!

May 6, 2006 - quite an enjoyable bottle despite the fact that it was just the napa. annise, tobacco and vanilla on the nose with the oh so typical rutherford dust in the mouth is had fine balance and a long finish
