June 15, 2020 - Very recognizable botrytis. Highly aromatic and jammy on the nose: quince, saffron, all types of confit stone fruit (peaches, nectarines, apricots), honey, vanilla pastry cream; some fresh ginger and clove, raw walnuts, some roasted coffee, chocolate, orangette, English bitter orange marmalade.
High acidity despite its age; quite oxidative on the finish with some mushrooms. Incredibly complex and with infinite ageing potential.
    94pt

May 28, 2018 - So, my note 14 yrs said something about giving it more time. This was too much time. Apple-y acids and harsh sweet side. Not pleasant at all.

August 8, 2016 - Thick almost syrup but good honeyed flavors. Will last forever?

August 1, 2009 - really good wine but not sure it matches the tarrif...will let second bottle sleep for some time to see. great botrytized flavors...thick and I would say almost heavy...although would agree with other review that finish was strong.
