  September 18, 2023 - Decanted all day. This is a big, brooding wine with dark black fruits, lavendar, leather and dark chocolate. Savory fruit and gentle sprinkles of spices blend into the rich tannic finish.
  
  The aromatics were relatively muted for a Bedrock syrah, but perhaps this is the result of me opening the bottle ahead of its optimum drinking window.
  
  Great steak wine if you want the heft of a cali cab combined with the savory spice of a syrah.

  February 11, 2023 - Nice cool climate syrah. Oaky, slightly funky nose. Palate like a pinot noir, with bright red fruit and some oak. High acidity, high tannin, a shame I only have one bottle, because I suspect this will be interesting with age.

  January 17, 2023 - Really nice, heavy on the spice for my taste, but its still a great quality wine. Absolutely opened it to early, but thats why I have another....a little dry, plenty of black pepper. Finished the bottle the next day, really opened nicely, should have decanted at least a few hours.
