November 6, 2010 - Dark but clear garnet red. Light nose on opening of oaky cherry that blossoms a bit with air. Medium light body on the palate (echoing the nose) with good acidity: as it was meant to be. The finish is wild with cherry, roast almond, and a bit of Dr Pepper. Excellent with pizza and other tomato-based Italian dishes. A "drink now" (or at least in the next two or three years) but it would be interesting to see how it develops over a longer time.

March 13, 2009 - Big California style Sangiovese. Nice fruit and good balance. 15.5% alcohol though, so go easy!
