  February 18, 2024 - Quite youthful and primary as others have said, and very exuberant. Red and dark berries, herbaceous, and lightly smoky on the nose. Palate is flush with fruit but plenty of structure here and impressively long. I wish I bought more of this, I bet it’ll be really superb in a decade or more.

  January 28, 2024 - Very enjoyable, easy drinking. Had at Lupi & Iris in Milwaukee based on recommendation, and it was excellent. Good by itself and excellent with food.

It's sweetly red and black fruited- ripe cherries, blackberries, even some cranberries, as well as lavender, and some dried herbs. The palate is where this wine shines. The fruit profile is ripe cherries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, sweet in character, though without actually residual sugar. There are some savory olive and herbal notes in there as well, a touch of Provencal herbs; all these will likely emerge with age. Medium chalky tannins, medium plus body, higher acidity to my palate than your average N Rhone Syrah. A very nice wine- pleasurable, not too intellectualy, though it will become increasingly complex and satisfying with age. Ad It's got a good 10, 15, even 20 yrs in the tank I would guess.
