December 24, 2011 - Good Amarone but does not compare to the higher end ones. Of course it was not high end price. Prunes and dark fruit, but it was not heavy wine compared to others. Light in the palette.

January 22, 2011 - Very good amarone for the price. Hints of raisin and dried plum but not like a Giuseppe Quintarelli but given the price well worth it.

April 25, 2009 - Outstanding Amarone ....offers a knock out nose of wood charcoal intermixed with black truffle, asphalt and roast beef. Amazingly rich and full bodied, this chewy, thick, exceptionally pure wine provides immediate accessibility. {Intense, Black Fruit, Full-bodied} 90 pts
