March 14, 2023 - Medium ruby with intense aromas of tree bark, oak, vanilla, green tea, and brown sugar which all settle after some time to reveal violet.
The palate on the other hand is not as in your face as the nose with medium minus flavours of smoke, licorice, vanilla, oak, cedar, and a hint of plum. Dry medium minus finish.
I would give this another two years and maybe the fruits will shine instead of those oak influences. A lot of potential for this wine if that were to happen.1 person found this helpful Comment
