February 11, 2024 - Not decanted, consumed over ~1 1/2 hours. Darkly fruited, quite ripe (bumping up against overripe, depending on your tastes), and showing a good whack of oak vanillin. Modest structure for the weight of the wine. Thankfully, the extraction is in check. Although this isn't my favorite style of Syrah, we were able to enjoy this for what it was.
