March 11, 2023 - A decent representative of the lesser-known Rogue Valley, Oregon, AVA, and a comfortable QPR. This Pinot Noir is an interesting balance between the lush, fruit-forward examples from California to the south and the earthy, elegant, mineral offerings of Willamette Valley to the north. I get quite a bit of tart cherry and red currant and a loooonnnggggg finish -- I'm going to be tasting this Pinot Noir well into next week! Not a lot of nuanced complexity, as it finishes much as it starts, but a decent, approachable wine nonetheless.
