  October 18, 2023 - cellar defender.. easy smooth and ready to go. not cerebral..but just a good solid daily drinker out of red mountain.
  inky and dark with a purple rim.. dark berries on the nose with a bit of dirt and rock. palate is dry and tannic with dark berries (ripe blackberries and black plum) and stone. still, it is a smooth wine. relatively balanced. easily has another 5 years of life.. possibly more but.. its ready to go now!
  4/17/24 6 months on from last bottle and its still.improving getting softer and more integrated as it ages lots of life yet to go.. a little more coffee notes, berries are slightly less upfront , tannins are dogter but still very evident

  June 30, 2023 - Very strong tannins. Requires an extended decant. Bold, dry, high acid. Nice ripe raspberry flavor if/when you can get passed that. With those powerful tannins, expect it will age nicely.
