March 30, 2024 - The one with Old Bordeaux (Praelum): Classic expression of the vintage. This struck me with so much power and rusticity that this had to be the 95 vs 96 flight and this was definitely a 1995. Signature graves and earth bouquet with a spearmint and morello cherry nose. Palate is still youthful and opulent with a dense core of fruit and minerality - surely this can only get better!

November 24, 2023 - Bordal à Onex (VSU, Mission, Clos de Beze, Percarlo, Rieussec..) (Belle-Cour): De mémoire. Excellent, s’est livré dès le début.
Nez typique, âtre froid, fumée, havane.
    Equilibré, puissant, complexe.
    À point.

October 10, 2023 - Drank this at dinner in London; strong nose and nice body; the wine ended up having a sourness to it that started to dissipate with time but never left entirely; finish was pleasant and had some duration to it (which I love); all-in, I have had a number of LMH and this one was not as dynamic as the others.

June 24, 2023 - The same bottle rmodak

A fantastic nose. Graves earth, beautiful stone fruit and cassis but what stood out he most was the perfumed florals and an almost minty note. One the palate it's structured and vertical wine still ahead of its peak. More of the same notes on the palate with terrific inner mouth perfume. Quite giving for a '95 with an almost richness texturally. Finishes with firm fine tannins. This is still on the ascent. Beautiful. 95+

June 24, 2023 - At peak with time at hand. Wide open black cherry fruit with perfume of herbs, gravel and a hint of mint. Texturally quite long and opulent but with a cote of minerality and acid to bring everything into balance.
