May 13, 2011 - Aromas of raspberries, beautiful purple color, full bodied, rich, dark raspberry flavors, just a hint of menthol, sweet, mellow, and warming. Perfect for a cold evening. A little like a raspberry fruit leather with a little dusty grip. Slightly Port-like upon first taste.

December 19, 2010 - December Zinfandel Tasting (Scott & Todd's): A solid effort, better than my previous experience, but nor was it a distinctive, world-class wine like its price point demands. The Hartford house cooper shows itself here; it happens to be a good choice to complement the fruit in the bottle but being able to pick it out is disappointing at some level. Delicious wine but I'm glad I only paid for one of these back in the day.

March 19, 2009 - This could very well be better than this, but at this point in the evening, my senses were a bit dulled. Had after other wines with a rockin' home-made lobster bisque and hickory smoke-roasted whole tenderloin at our rental condo in Perdido Beach, Florida (http://www.meyerre.com/property/Mediterranean_at_PK_502W --- do not, I repeat, do not rent a condo on the side of the Floribama bar!!!). Anyway, a powerful wine, luscious, deep fruit, very, very well made.
