  September 21, 2009 - Tremendous value. On the sweeter side, with nice aroma of tropical fruit (pineapple?) and a little hint of stone and petrol. On the palate, you'll notice the residual sugar, but it's well balanced by juicy acidity. More pineapple and melon notes. Very clean and nice for a sub-$10 wine, drinks like it costs twice as much.

  September 19, 2008 - Head to head with Gundlach Bundschu Sauv Blanc 06. Very similar stylistically. Good acidity, fresh, clean flavors. Litchis came through. Paired with Thai food - this one did better with the red coconut milk curry.
  After two days open in the fridge... wow, this really opens up, and the flavors are much more pronounced! Really a nice gewurz. 89+ at this point - decant this if you can.
