Community Tasting Notes 2

December 22, 2023 - Rich gold. Prominent oxidation on nose. Some nice complexity here, savory touch, grapefruit, lime, sherry. Nice mid palate. Smooth, almost oily mouthfeel. Very good. Searching for a flaw - Finish a bit short.

June 20, 2023 - Wine Book & Book Wine Review #1: Colour: deep yellow.
Nose: yellow apple, fern, marmalade, butter, hint of lemon and vanilla.
Taste: more lemon on the palate, apricot, touch of butter and oak, slight bitterness. It is very pleasing and goes down very easily, medium acidity and body and it feels very round. Long finish.

It was unusually hard for me to pinpoint aromas in the wine, and I count it as a minus. However, it’s nice and round, and is definitely worth buying for under $25 as I got it, just to get that little touch of Burgundy.
