  April 26, 2024 - Though coming from a large production the quality remains the primary focus of the winery and it shows in the outcome in this wine.
  
  On the nose it is cherry fruit with some leather right there next to the fruit. In mouth I get plum, black cherry, and once again leather. This is very well made and worth having right now.

  February 16, 2024 - thought I wrote a note for this one but must have lost it - Really enjoyed this - nice red fruit and good structure. Went and bought 3 more bottles so that tells you something.
  
  [Found note - Light red color, Barolo like. Sweet/savory nose - soy, sweet cherry, pipe tobacco, strawberry and forest floor. Medium body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and very long finish. 94-95 range].

  July 13, 2023 - This wine is a brass quartet. It has many layers. Rich and hearty on the palette, it shows flavors of cherry, leather and clay pot as true to the style, but also a hint of funk / brett. Very intriguing and well recommended.

  November 17, 2022 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello NYC. Medium garnet color. Nose has some tar and chocolate but is nicely red fruited. Nose is very appealing with a wonderful richness (probably mostly oak driven) The wine has decent structure but is more fruit forward than many others tasted today with cherry and red currant. Nice texture as well. Finish is pleasant but not especially long. Earlier drinking but by no means too soft or flabby.

  November 11, 2022 - Focus on the fruit here, round and pleasing. Has the power to go on, if not for long term. Enjoyable now, if you're looking for fruit.
