May 12, 2024 - Strawberry and a faint earthy note on the nose. On the palate, classic Sangiovese cherry with notes of plum, red berries, and earth on the medium finish, with fairly strong tannins and good acidity. This was an average value at about $50. This is at the beginning of its drinking window and may improve as the tannins are absorbed.

April 7, 2024 - Mörk färg. Kryddig och intensiv med smak av körsbär. Mycket fina fattoner och dessutom riktigt bra tanniner. Verkligen jättegott!

March 31, 2024 - Cherry, leather, florals, and balsamic vinegar at first, with baking spice and prune coming in over time. The finish resolves with lingering metallics. Refined for sure, but to me, not particularly exciting. I don't think this lives up to the hype, but I guess I just have less interest in this kind of classical luxe approach to Sangiovese.

March 4, 2024 - Light red. Not a great nose, a bit muted. Sour cherry, red berry and spice but not very bright. Great spicy red cherry, leather and spice flavours and a beautiful finish. Very fine grained tannins leaving a nice smooth feeling.

I hope the nose improves. I did buy it at the Westwood BCLDB store. A place where good wines go to die. Really tragic conditions.

February 15, 2024 - Floral and spice scent. Medium body, solid structure, and ample fine tannins.
