May 9, 2024 - Still young. We drunk a few bottles over several days. At the moment this needs air and really opens up the second day! Don’t pop and poor this beautiful bottle. You will be rewarded for waiting. Then it’s hard to tell if it’s Pinot or Sangiovese. Very elegant.

January 20, 2024 - Lunch with D in HK (The Victuals): Pronounced notes of sour cherry, high tannin with med acid, lightly extracted. Lovely rosso.

January 4, 2024 - Quickie drink in the neighbourhood post work. Tasted blind. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, bright ruby colour. Legs.
Nose was extremely reductive, though thankfully able to dissipate the reduction off with swirling around in the Conterno Sensory. Medium+ intensity, with very primary aroma of red cherry fruit. Super youthful.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), fine medium+ tannins, elegant Pinot-like medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of red cherries, fresh leather, stony earth, faint tar reminiscent of young Langhe Nebbiolo. Medium finish.
An embryonic wine for now. Best to re-explore again after another year or two of age only.
