  March 7, 2024 - Dense purple. Lots of black fruits: blackberry, plums and casis. Ripe almost to overripe nose, yet perfectly ripened palate. Wild spring flowers, green bell pepper, fresh mint, black peppercorn, mocha, meat and some vanilla. High tannins, medium + acids and alcohol. This is exciting, textural, very long with lots of depth. Eric says it needs a big juicy steak. I was wrong and guessed Bordeaux.

  April 23, 2023 - Bought on a whim not expecting much…the usual Napa BS.
  That said, it’s better than the usual BS super extracted juju, beautiful ripe fruit, restrained and not complicated but certainly keeps you sipping.
  Absolutely 3++ years too young, the oak didn’t show until 3 hours after decant.
  I’d buy it to hold.
  Drink 2025-2030…94pts in 2027
